Barbalha-EC: Founder of COOPATARC is dead within steakhouse

A crime with features of gunmen was recorded at about 20:30 on Thursday inside a grill that works on the banks of the state highway that connects the Barbalha and Old Mission. The founder and former president of COOPATARC (Alternative Cooperative Transport Region Cariri) Marceno dos Santos, 44, was killed with four shots from a revolver with three in the abdomen and another in the face.

The victim lived in Rua Jundiaí (Bairro Alto Joy) and even tried to escape the line of fire, but fell dead on the sidewalk of Good Taste Steakhouse where he was with a couple of friends. According to witnesses, two men came on a motorcycle and one of them entered the establishment when he announced a robbery.
